Our Brazilian class was a full house on Saturday, August 6th, as Chef Ana Soares shared her passion for South American cuisine with our hungry audience. Among our patrons was a film crew from WRAL news in Raleigh, documenting the class and asking the Chef all about Brazilian food, culture and who she was rooting for in the Olympics.
Ana grew up in Brazil and moved to the states 14 years ago. She says one of the things she loves most about the Triangle is the diversity. It’s apparent through her approach to cooking that variety is the spice of life because class-goers had the opportunity to make dishes from mouth-watering cheese bread to greens with a Brazilian vinaigrette.
