"Attended Beef, Bacon & Beer class tonight. We cannot say enough about what a great experience this was! We learned a lot, had a full course meal, and enjoyed the fellowship. Instructor Ana and the staff were outstanding. Food was excellent as well as the beer and wine! We will look for another class to take for sure!"
"Cooking classes are an absolute must, of course before or after shopping at the best cooking shop in the Triangle is fabulous too!"
“We had a great time! Renee and her crew were amazing, as was the food. It made for a wonderful Christmas gift for my husband, and a fun time with friends. Thanks for helping to make our private party happen!”
“My son attended your Top Chef Junior Summer Camp and it was fabulous. I could tell right away as we stepped into Chef Teresa's organized & impeccable kitchen that he was going to be taught real cooking skills in an authentic cooking environment.
Chef Teresa not only is a knowledgeable chef, but she manages a kids camp extremely well too. Teresa has a great rapport with the children and the parents. I also love how there are many assistants to keep the class moving and keep supplies ready/clean. Their diligent work showed that they are all equally invested in the success of the camp. I loved the fact that it was definitely a busy, working camp…..knife skills, kitchen safety, chopping, dicing, marinating, seasoning…..the list goes on. Equally adventurous was the fact that the campers made full meals including starter, entrée and dessert each day.
When I came back to pick up my camper the first day, I could tell immediately it was a success. Waifs of pork dumplings, Kung Pao chicken, stir fried veggies and almond cookies filled the air. Kids feasted on their creations voraciously diving into peppers, broccoli, carrots, zucchini. I've never seen kids so willingly eat veggies as they were eating. My son included. They loaded their plates with spicy chicken and dipped pork dumplings into the tangy sauce. They even used serving utensils. Total bonus that parents got to taste the items cooked too. That helps connect the "Mom we've got to make this at home" comments.
Again - thank you for this wonderful camp. We would be interested in another week or 2 of this style camp if you are able to do more throughout the year. Maybe over school holidays? Even a 3-day camp would be good.”

“Everyone enjoyed the experience. Pam was an awesome chef and engaged everyone in the prep and cooking of the meal. The entire group had a great time and can't wait to do it again. The food was absolutely incredible and I can't wait to try the recipes they gave us in my own kitchen.“

“We hosted my sister's bridal shower at Whisk, and the experience - from our first inquiry last fall to the moment we left the building yesterday afternoon - was wonderful.
I do not live in Raleigh and needed to plan the event from afar. Jennifer was fantastic in helping us determine whether the shop could host our event, which menu and layout would be best, and how we could accommodate food allergies.
Yesterday, Cat and Carrie skillfully (and entertainingly!) led our 15-person group through a fun, informative, and delicious Italian Trattoria lesson that got everyone involved in the cooking at least once. And the team allowed us to stay after the class for about an hour to mingle and open gifts.
I can't think of a party I've hosted that felt more stress-free than this one. Many, many thanks to the whole team at Whisk. We so appreciate your work and hospitality!”

“Love Whisk! Just visited for the first time last week. Picked up a few must-haves, and left our "prized knives" for sharpening. Great staff and great selection. Will be back. A candy store for foodies of all levels.”
- Cindy Jones
“Stopped in today for the first time! Talk about a candy store for adults - I could have purchased every single thing I saw! Going to be back and might take a cooking class. So nice to meet Dan and Diana!”
- Diane Dolac Mason
“I walked in this afternoon while passing by. I wanted to look around and happened upon a beautiful kitchen in the back of the store, where one of the owners was working. He and his staff were all welcoming and easy to chat with. The store is laid out well and very calming to walk around in while exploring kitchen items/gadgets. I picked up a Microplane and chatted with the cashier ladies for a bit who were knowledgeable and kind. I live 40 mins away but I’ll be stopping in again soon to check out their cooking classes!”

“I am not a shopper by any means, but THIS store kept me there for over an hour. There's so much to see! The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Whisk Carolina will delight chefs whether novice or expert. Supporting local businesses means supporting local families and that is just a great feeling. Wishing you all the best. Will be back soon.”

“It has come to be a bit of a habit that anytime I head up to Raleigh or Cary for anything, I have to stop at Whisk - even if it is just to look around and get ideas for what my kitchen needs next. But this past Saturday just solidified my opinion of this store, its staff and the owner, Dan.
At the time, I had no idea that I was talking to the owner of the store, but I was just asking questions about knives, getting his opinion and handling several different brands (all of which are top notch!) before looking at the set prices. Dan didn't know me from Adam, but he still made sure that I was going to be able to take the best set of knives possible home with me.
I can't say enough about the staff, they are always friendly and knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. If you need kitchen supplies, this is the place to go. The only downside is that I now need another excuse to head up to Cary!”
- Zak Willard
“This is by far the best Kitchen Store I have been in. I was visiting the area for other reasons and while I was out that way, and I dropped in to check it out. Very friendly staff. I felt very welcomed and not pushed to buy something. Thanks.”
