Pork and Chive Dumplings

Impress your friends and family with this easy to make appetizer!

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 1/2 cup finely diced cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons minced chives
  • 2 tablespoons grated ginger
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 package of round dumpling wrappers (35-40 count)
  • small bowl of water
Preparation Steps:
  1. Take the dumpling wrappers out of the refrigerator to allow them to soften a bit while you are prepping the other ingredients.
  2. Place the pork, diced cabbage, chives, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Mix well to combine ingredients.
  3. Using a spoon or small scoop, place approximately one heaping tablespoon of the pork mixture in the middle of a dumpling wrapper.
  4. Gently fold the wrapper in half and, with your finger, dab water around the edge of the dumpling wrapper.
  5. Press the edges of the wrapper together to form a tight seal. Make 3-4 'z' shaped folds along the edge of the dumpling (see photo).

To dice the cabbage quickly, use a food processor with a grater blade.
Peel the ginger using a spoon to scrape off the thin outer skin.
